I’m sure you’re wondering how a wedding in Clarksdale, Mississippi could be considered a “Destination Wedding?” Well, when you and all your guests hail from Toronto, Canada, well that my friends is a Destination Wedding! When Elise orignally booked, I just assumed she lived in Canada now and was coming home for her wedding. Nope! They were both born and raised in Toronto. Once when visiting New Orleans, Sean and Elise just happend upon The Shack Up Inn in Clarksdale and fell in love with the place. Three years later when they started planning their wedding day, they figured why not! Let’s do something unique and special to us. How cool is that!

Leia with A Lewis Events out of Memphis, TN did an awesome job planning the whole event. The food catered by Abe’s BBQ was Dee-lish!  And the two bands, they were off that hook!

People of the world feast your eyes upon the coolest couple in Union, MS!  The town’s small, there maybe two stoplights, but there is nothing stopping these two from being awesome!  Again it was hot but that didn’t matter, we were able to get some pretty gnarly portraits!

Ceremony & Reception | First Baptist Church of Union

Earlier I posted about Emily and Andy’s invitations and said if they were anything to go by, this wedding would be off the detail hook…They definitely exceeded my expectations!  Emily and Andy are probably one of the two nicest people I will ever meet, and I a had blast shooting their wedding.  The whole wedding and reception was in the backyard of her families home on the lake.  The weather although a bit chilly in the morning was perfect!!!  A little cloudy during the portraits, but the sun popped as they exchanged their vows!  One of the coolest bits though, the Father of the Bride’s band did the reception!  Kristen with Signature Occasions really did a fantastic job as a wedding planner and a wedding stylist.  You can see all her hard work come to fruition in the details.  Oh, and the catering, by Pretty Presentations, out of Meridian, was by far the best reception food I have ever had…period!  I’m just saying…A perfect wedding.

These two ladies were fantastic.  The images were captured on the massive grounds of the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, Italy.  What a great way to cap off the end of a fantastic trip to Florence, Italy.  First the engagement session of Meredith + Dale all around Florence, then their gorgeous wedding at the Four Seasons, and then to finish with these images…Definitely Gnarly!

Summer Watkins | Grey Likes Weddings

I’m on a roll!  What are we up to, four blog posts in a week?!?  This one is definitely most awesome.

Dale & Meredith out of Fayetteville, Arkansas had their destination wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, Italy, and man was this place immaculate. We started out in Meredith’s room which was probably the size of my house to grab the two of them getting ready.  Then the ceremony was held in the Duomo viewing garden just before sun down…the light was amazing!  But dude, check out the room where we had dinner.  It had paintings older then our country and the chandeliers cost over 1 million Euro each!  Not to shabby a place to have a fine five course meal.

So one of my best friends from college got hitched this past weekend to a fantastic guy out in Wimberley, TX.  We had a huge amount of fun hanging out with all our old friends out on this 600 acre ranch that the University owned.  We camped out and enjoyed the marvelous bed-rocked stream with its crazy eroded pockets.  The wedding itself was absolutely gorgeous, and I really enjoyed being a guest and having the day off to celebrate with everyone.
