Meet Kristen and Logan! We finally got to do their engagement photos. Poor Kristen has been trying to schedule these up for weeks, but weather and black eyes (funny story!) kept putting us on hold. Glad we waited though, because the weather was fantastic! Logan played outfield for Ole Miss while at school, so had the hook up, and we got to go out to Swayze Field for a unique engagement session! Finished things up with a gorgeous sunset out at Rowan Oak and a perfect image of the two!

By the way, the Rebels are ranked 18th right now!

Meet Colleen and Justin…Oh and their little pup, Atticus!  Colleen and Justin are both in Clarksdale because of Teach For America, a pretty cool program.  Your schooling is paid for in exchange for a few years commitment to work at a school in a low-income community. Colleen and Justin are getting married in Clarksdale with their reception at one of my favorite venues, Hopson Plantation, which so happens to be currently featured on the cover of this month Delta Magazine!!

We had a fabulous afternoon showing these two the sites of Oxford…Square Books (of course), then a wood lot by the Chamber of Commerce, and then  finally a blooming bradford pear tree by the derelict Captain D’s restaurant!  Jewels of Oxford!!

People of the World Wide Web, I’m currently sitting in the Sky lounge at LAX waiting on my flight to Australia!!!  Heading up to Cooktown (NE Australia) for two weeks to check out some of their rivers (and hopefully not their crocs!)  I couldn’t leave with out getting you some photos to drool over.

May I present Katherine and Jeff and their two pups!  The weather was perfect.  Hit up the Brooks Art Museum‘s grounds and then over to Downtown Main Street in Memphis.

Another fine day for another fine engagement session in Oxford, Mississippi! First up we had to hit Vaught-Hemingway Stadium up for sure. Bradley is a Senior Offensive Tackle for the Rebs, and soon to be playing on Sundays! Follow that up with the ever faithful Oxford Square and a trek down Faulkner’s Alley!

Well, we might not win every game (Alabama just slaughtered us) but we definitely win our engagement sessions!  Too cheesy?!?  Bess and Peter have class!  How awesome are those two with the blanket.  We first hit up Castle Hill, which is where their wedding is going to be.  The weather and the lighting was fantastic!  Then off to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on the campus of Ole Miss, for a little bit of Rebel Pride!

I’m in for a whirlwind wedding weekend.  I’m shooting along the fabulous Laura Parker shooting in her home turf of Dallas, Texas.  We’ve got 3 weddings, 1 bridal, and then awesome stylized engagement session!

Nicole and Jake were awesome, but the best thing about the whole shoot, was it was all within about a radius of 30 feet!  You can have a great session and not have to walk all over the place!!!  So Brides, get your creative juices flowing…
