Well, we weren’t going to let the rain hold us back!  Although it was quite doubtful we would be making it outside, but the sun showed it’s pretty face just in time for Courtney and Tommy’s first look!  C and T tied the knot at the most fabulous First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS.  The ceremony was followed with a throw down at the downtown Jackson Marriott.  The party was so hot that Iron Man himself made an appearance…  Wedding planning and design brought to you by the marvelous Deborah Simmons and Kristen Blackard of Signature Occasions and Memphis Soul Review had the party rockin”!

Meet Lauren and Andy.  Lauren has style!!!  I totally dig the mini-veil and the arm bracelet.  Oh and Andy didn’t stop smiling the whole day, ear to ear!  We started out with portraits around the infamous Oxford Square.  The weather was perfect…maybe a bit chilly, but it wasn’t raining!  Their ceremony was at Oxford-University Methodist with the reception following on the rooftop at The Oxford University Club where The Boufants, a band from Memphis, come down and put on a show!

Meet Katherine and Jeff! You might remember them from the awesome engagement session in Memphis with their pups (here!) The wedding and reception were held at the marvelous Colonel’s Quarters at Castle Hill and the weather was perfect. Nice and warm with just a slight breeze. Yes, I did make all the girls trek down the grassy hill in their high heels, but I do believe the pictures prove it was worth it! Andi with Castle Hill did a stellar job as the wedding coordinator, and thanks to Brian Flint for helping as the second shooter.

Christmas is upon us!  Crazy to believe its next weekend and New Years is just around the corner.  But, don’t fret, we have a pretty awesome couple to tie you over until 2012.  Claire and Jim got married at Tunica Methodist Church on yet another beautiful yet chilly December day!  Followed up with a kickin party at the Hollywood Casino Ballroom.  Yes I did play some Craps and yes I did lose $15, but we had a great time!

It snowed in Oxford today! Didn’t last long but it did snow, oh and it’s been raining since Sunday. Makes the weather we had last Saturday for Jessica Lee and Bradley Sowell’s wedding even more perfect! Thanks to Andi Cooper and Jean Abrams from Castle Hill Resort for putting on a fabulous wedding!

Again, we got to sneak on to the football field at Ole Miss, however this time we did get caught and yelled at. Fabulous photos were had regardless!

I’m sure you’re wondering how a wedding in Clarksdale, Mississippi could be considered a “Destination Wedding?” Well, when you and all your guests hail from Toronto, Canada, well that my friends is a Destination Wedding! When Elise orignally booked, I just assumed she lived in Canada now and was coming home for her wedding. Nope! They were both born and raised in Toronto. Once when visiting New Orleans, Sean and Elise just happend upon The Shack Up Inn in Clarksdale and fell in love with the place. Three years later when they started planning their wedding day, they figured why not! Let’s do something unique and special to us. How cool is that!

Leia with A Lewis Events out of Memphis, TN did an awesome job planning the whole event. The food catered by Abe’s BBQ was Dee-lish!  And the two bands, they were off that hook!

Now for the big wedding day!  It was a day packed full of excitement!  Yavuz and I spent about 3 hours at La Rousse Salon and Spa!  Yep, 3 hours!  It was fun though, and definitely beat the 15 minutes we were outside at Rowan Oak, Faulkner’s home, doing Kate and Eli’s First Look!  I really feel sorry for all the guys in the summer time having to wear suits and jackets.  I finally got to do some pics in the lobby at The Lyric Theater, pretty stoked about that!  Their ceremony was at St. Peter’s and the reception was at The Lyric.  The coolest bit though was the trumpet and sax player that played music as the whole wedding party and guests walked from the church to the reception!  Makes you wish we were down in New Orleans!

I almost forgot…The band was off the hook!  They were intense.  As-izz from Atlanta, GA.

And yes, Eli danced with a chicken-on-a-stick.
