Bess and Peter are finally married!!!  I know this day couldn’t get here soon enough for Bess!  I’m not sure I have ever met someone so excited and gitty for her wedding day…She actually cried at our first meeting because she was so excited for this day.  The ceremony was at College Hill Presbytery, which is this very quaint and very old church on the outskirts of Oxford, and the weather seriously couldn’t have been more perfect.  The reception followed at Colonel’s Quarters at Castle Hill.  Wedding planning and details were done by Ferriday McClatchy, and they were off the hook!  Oh and if you missed it, their engagement photos can be found here, and do come back for Bess’s bridal session!

It snowed in Oxford today! Didn’t last long but it did snow, oh and it’s been raining since Sunday. Makes the weather we had last Saturday for Jessica Lee and Bradley Sowell’s wedding even more perfect! Thanks to Andi Cooper and Jean Abrams from Castle Hill Resort for putting on a fabulous wedding!

Again, we got to sneak on to the football field at Ole Miss, however this time we did get caught and yelled at. Fabulous photos were had regardless!

These two are a couple of cool cats!  Don’t believe me, just check out Charlie’s “Blues Brothers” Shades!  I had a blast taking their pictures around Oxford’s Square and at the infamous, Square Books, even if it was boiling hot.

Their ceremony was at the Oxford Church of Christ and the reception was at the ever faithful Oxford University Club.

Sydney was an Ole Miss Rebelette and Zack was an Ole Miss Cheerleader, so needless to say school pride runs deep through their veins!  We had Hotty Toddies, we had Dixie, we even had a Pig Sooie creep in!  The crowd had a blast!  The ceremony and reception were both on the lovely grounds of The Colonel’s Quarters out at Castle Hill Estates.

Super stoked about the wedding in Louisiana coming up this weekend.  From what I’ve heard from Emily (the bride!) and Kristen (the wedding planner!) the details and location are to die for!  Seriously a wedding in Louisiana on a farm on a lake with fantastic weather, talk about making my job easy.  These stamped vintage handkerchief wedding invitations should be proof enough that this wedding is going to be off the detail hook.

So all you brides out there planning your big day, please come and get some inspiration, and if you are in need of a wedding planner please run don’t walk to Signature Occasions and ask for Kristen Blackard.  I’m serious go as soon as you look at the photos!

You know, despite it being quite chilly out, the sun made the portraits for Carol Anne and Warren outside of the University Chapel worth it!  After a lovely ceremony at the Chapel, we hopped on the Double Decker, took a quick detour to the Lyceum (even though the bus driver had no idea where he was going!) and then it was off to the Oxford University Club for an evening of crab-legs and dancing!

What a fantastic wedding!  I finally got to shoot at the Oxford-University United Methodist Church again, which was where I shot my first ever wedding so many years ago!  Although Libby and I had made big plans for portraits that day, she didn’t let the rain dampen her spirits!  We rocked a ton of shots at the Oxford Downtown Inn in the biggest Penthouse ever.  The flowers where done by one of the best florists in town, Oxford Floral.  The reception at The Lyric was on fire!  Libby and Nick hired a full on band!  We also did our first ever Photo Booth.
