People of the world, say hello to Julia and Austin!  They’ll be tying the knot in July at the awesome St Peter’s in Oxford with a fabulous reception to follow at the Inn at Ole Miss.  In the meantime, feast your eyes on these engagement photos!!!

Meet Colleen and Justin…Oh and their little pup, Atticus!  Colleen and Justin are both in Clarksdale because of Teach For America, a pretty cool program.  Your schooling is paid for in exchange for a few years commitment to work at a school in a low-income community. Colleen and Justin are getting married in Clarksdale with their reception at one of my favorite venues, Hopson Plantation, which so happens to be currently featured on the cover of this month Delta Magazine!!

We had a fabulous afternoon showing these two the sites of Oxford…Square Books (of course), then a wood lot by the Chamber of Commerce, and then  finally a blooming bradford pear tree by the derelict Captain D’s restaurant!  Jewels of Oxford!!

Enjoy the pics!

Another fine day for another fine engagement session in Oxford, Mississippi! First up we had to hit Vaught-Hemingway Stadium up for sure. Bradley is a Senior Offensive Tackle for the Rebs, and soon to be playing on Sundays! Follow that up with the ever faithful Oxford Square and a trek down Faulkner’s Alley!

Enjoy the pics!

How cool is this couple!  I’ve been wanting to do a session out at the lake, and despite it being unbearably hot, Jordan and Jim were all over it.  Aren’t they awesome with their firkids!

Enjoy the pics.

These two are a couple of cool cats!  Don’t believe me, just check out Charlie’s “Blues Brothers” Shades!  I had a blast taking their pictures around Oxford’s Square and at the infamous, Square Books, even if it was boiling hot.

Their ceremony was at the Oxford Church of Christ and the reception was at the ever faithful Oxford University Club.

Last weekend was 16th Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford, MS, and it was the first time it had ever been over two-nights.  Old Crow Medicine Show started the weekend off right on Friday night with a fantastic concert in the street. Then Saturday, was a great day of art shopping, fair food eating, and music listening!  For about 30 minutes, the clouds started looking like something out of Ghostbusters where the big ole marshmallow man comes out of the sky.

On to the photos, starting with three of my favorite things (in no particular order!)

The weather has been fantastic in Oxford lately.  Not to hot, but not cold at all, but absolutely perfect for an Engagement session!  So Courtney, Hildon, and I took off shooting around Oxford.  We started out at the infamous Rowan Oak grounds with its awesome country home background and then followed it up on the Square where the colors were popping!

Just wait for their wedding in July, I have a feeling its going to be kickin’!
