Bess and Peter are finally married!!!  I know this day couldn’t get here soon enough for Bess!  I’m not sure I have ever met someone so excited and gitty for her wedding day…She actually cried at our first meeting because she was so excited for this day.  The ceremony was at College Hill Presbytery, which is this very quaint and very old church on the outskirts of Oxford, and the weather seriously couldn’t have been more perfect.  The reception followed at Colonel’s Quarters at Castle Hill.  Wedding planning and details were done by Ferriday McClatchy, and they were off the hook!  Oh and if you missed it, their engagement photos can be found here, and do come back for Bess’s bridal session!

Enjoy the pics!

This wedding was so much fun it’s going to take at least two blog posts!!! First up is the Bridal Luncheon and the Rehearsal Dinner. The Bridal Luncheon was at probably one of the coolest properties in Oxford. This house sits at the top of a hill so you could see the University off in the distance. The girls had it made!  Someone was there giving manicures and they just chillaxed by the pool.

You know the speeches at the rehearsal dinner are good when most of the moments captured is with your head in your hands uncontrollably laughing!

Enjoy some pics!

So last week I got to meet up with Emily and Andy in their new hometown of Washington, D.C.  The last time I was in D.C. was only to shoot this little thing called the Inauguration (Photos here!)  The weather was perfect stroll around The Mall.  We started off at Union Station, where I really dig the escalator shot!  We thought we would then park a middle and hit all the typical Memorials, but alas there was huge Cancer awareness walk going on at the same time, so needless to say, the traffic was little stand-still-ish!  So we headed to the Jefferson Memorial where we had about 30 seconds to get any shots since apparently you must have a permit to shoot at the memorials!  We hit up Washington’s Monument and the WWII Memorial, unfortunately they were working on the Reflection Pool.  We had fun though, and I think got some fantastic images!  Make sure and check out their wedding images again here!

I’m going to be honest, but who knew Greenwood, MS was so classy!  I surely didn’t, but that town most definitely has character.  Shelby and Chris were married at the Church of the Nativity probably by one of the coolest Reverends I’ve ever known. The reception followed at the very fancy Alluvium Hotel.  This place was posh, definitely gave me a lot of ideas when comes to remodeling my home.  I for sure want to get some of William Dunlap’s art work.  The Players, a local Mississippi cover band, kept the party hopping.

Enjoy the pics.
